DR. ALLEN SUSSER
Allen Susser received an Honorary Doctorate Degree for his work and book on New World Cuisine. Chef Allen was one of FOOD & WINE MAGAZINE'S Best New Chefs in 1991, and was selected by the James Beard Foundation in 1994 as the Best Chef in America - Southeast Region. The New York Times called Allen, "The Ponce de Leon of New Florida Cuisine." Inspired by the lush tropical setting, he has created a brand of New World Foods that have been critically acclaimed the world over. He currently serves on the National Board of Directors of the American Institute of Wine & Food as well as the Board of the James Beard Foundation.
