Fern Berman is President of Fern Berman Communications, Inc., a New York-based company specializing in promotion and publicity for high-profile restaurants, food products, publications and food industry personalities. Fern's current list of restaurant clients includes Le Cirque 2000, Osteria del Circo, Patroon, and FireBird Russian Restaurant. She also works with restaurant designer Adam Tihany, Cook's Illustrated, Rozanne Gold, and the restaurant consulting firm, Joseph Baum and Michael Whiteman Co., Inc. Fern worked with Julia Child on the public relations campaign for the television series and companion book, In Julia's Kitchen with Master Chefs. Other clients have included The Ô21' Club; Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten and the restaurants Vong and JoJo. Fern is a partner and Editor-in-Chief of StarChefs, an award-winning Website that features celebrity chefs, cookbook authors, and industry news.
