Michael Klauber is Co-Proprietor of Michael's On East, Michael's On East Ballroom and Catering, Michael's Seafood Grille, The Down Under Jazz Club, Michael's Fine Wine & Spirit Merchants and The Tasting Room, all in Sarasota. For the last six years, Michael's On East has been named a AAA Four Diamond establishment, and one of Florida's top 20 restaurants by Florida Trend Magazine. Last year, Michael's on East was recognized in the Zagat Survey as the most popular restaurant on Florida's Gulf Coast. In addition, Michael's has received the coveted DiRoNA Award and the Wine Spectator's "Award of Excellence." An avid wine collector and professional wine judge, Michael is also founder and past president of the Florida Winefest and Auction, now ranked as the third largest charity food and wine event in the United States.
