RONN WIEGAND, MW, MS
Ronn Wiegand is the Publisher and Editor of Restaurant Wine, a newsletter about buying, selling and serving beverages for the hospitality industry. First published in 1988, it reaches hotels, restaurants, and clubs in North America and abroad. In addition, Ronn is Publisher and Editor of TasteTour WineGuides, a series of unique educational guides to Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, and Zinfandel. Ronn has also been the wine columnist for Nation's Restaurant News since 1994. He is the first person in the world to hold both the title of Master Sommelier, which he earned in 1986, and the title of Master of Wine, which he earned in 1991. Ronn was awarded the Tim Derouet Award in the same year for Top Master of Wine candidate, and is the only American yet to win this award.
