Biscotti recipe

• 1 Stick butter, creamed with
• 1 1/2c. sugar
• 6 eggs

Add:

• 4c. flour
• 4 t. baking powder
• 1 t. lemon extract
• 1/2 c. milk
• grated lemon rind

Mix:
Make loaf
Bake in 375 degree oven

Icing:
confectioner's sugar and milk
Cream butter with sugar

Add 6 eggs. Add non-sifted flour and baking powder. Add lemon extract, 1/2 cup milk or less and grated lemon rind. Mix well. Dough must be a little sticky to form loaf on the cookie sheet. Grease cookie sheet first. bake at 375 degrees until brown, approximately 15 to 25 minutes.

Cut into biscuits 3/4 inch. wide while hot and pour icing on while cake is warm.
