Stout Spice Cake

- 3
cups flour
- 2
½ teaspoons baking soda
- 1
teaspoon salt
- 2
½ teaspoons cinnamon
- 1
teaspoon nutmeg
- ¼
teaspoon ground cloves
- 1
cup sugar
- 1
cup vegetable Oil
- 1
cup molasses
- 1
cup Obsidian Stout
Butter
and flour a 9-inch baking pan. Combine all dry ingredients in
a bowl. In a separate bowl, combine liquid ingredients. Slowly
whisk in liquid to dry ingredients. Mix well. Pour into prepared
pan.
Place
in 350 degree oven for 40-50 minutes (check center of cake with
a toothpick, it should come out clean).
Serve
with Jubel Ale ice cream.
