Lentils and Pasta

Ingredients:

Soak lentils overnight. Drain, add to pot with other ingredients and water about 1inch above lentils. Cook until tender, about 30minutes. At the same time cook about 8 oz pasta ( elbow or mini shells) until al dente. Drain cooked pasta. Serve with lentils, crusty bead and butter and tossed salad on the side for a protein packed, nutritious and inexpensive meal. Enjoy!
