Craig Lane is a 14-year veteran of San Francisco restaurants and bars, having worked stints at Farallon, Heaven’s Dog, and Slanted Door since he moved west from Cleveland in 1998. Lane is currently the lead bartender at Bar Agricole, an urban tavern set in San Francisco’s SoMa district. As a team, Lane, Owner Thad Vogler, and Bar Manager Eric Johnson collaborate on a rotating list of classic cocktails designed to highlight distilleries and artisan products that demonstrate traditional production methods, responsible sourcing, and ethical standards.

In its two years of operation, Bar Agricole has garnered some impressive accolades, including mentions on Food & Wine’s "50 Best Bars in America" and Drinks International’s “Top 50 Bars In The World.” Bar Agricole was also one of the five finalists in consideration for the 2012 James Beard Award for Outstanding Bar Program.
