StarChefs.com is proud to partner with the Culinary Institute of the Pacific at Kapi'olani Community College. CIP provides students a solid kitchen foundation through hands-on learning and coursework that blends classical techniques with the global influences of Hawaii's singular heritage and pantry.
Students gain hands-on experience working at three on-campus restaurants plus four additional culinary/pastry labs, including sustainability-minded 220 Grille. And CIP's progressive curriculum more than nods to sustainability; its program includes aquaponic gardening, composting, recycling, and running a weekly farmers market, giving students the tools they need to build their own culinary futures, along with the future of Hawaiian cuisine.
