Located in New Orleans’ distressed Central City neighborhood, Café Reconcile is a nonprofit restaurant and training ground for students who want to gain skills in the food service industry. Its innovative life skills and job training program assists young people from at-risk communities, who want to make a positive change in their lives. Featuring local soul-filled dishes at some of the city’s lowest prices, Café Reconcile is a destination lunch spot for a wide cross-section of New Orleanians, as well as visitors from all across the country.
