Wölffer Estate Vineyard
The James Beard Foundation
presents Chefs and Champagne 2006 on July 22nd. The annual
summer tasting party will take place at the Wölffer Estate
Vineyard in Sagaponack, NY. Wines from the Wölffer vineyard
will be served, and the featured champagne is Charles Heidsieck.
This year’s honoree is Executive Chef and Restaurateur
Thomas Keller, whose restaurants include The French Laundry,
Bouchon, Bouchon Las Vegas, Bouchon Bakery, and Per
Se. There will be a grand tasting featuring offerings
from a select group of chefs and a silent auction.
Tickets for James Beard Members are $175, and for guests,
$250.
