StarChefs’ Chocolate Show Sweepstakes

Official Rules & Conditions: No purchase necessary: To enter, completely fill out and send the electronic submission form. The sweepstakes ends at 12 Noon EST on Monday, November 10, 2003.

There will be two Chocolate Show 2003 First Prize winners chosen by random drawing. Winners will be notified by phone or email. No purchase or payment of any money is necessary to enter. One entry per household. All entries become exclusive property of StarChefs and Boiling Water Inc. and will not be acknowledged or returned. StarChefs or Boiling Water assumes no responsibility for lost, late, illegible, incomplete or misdirected entries.

Contestants may also enter by printing the words CHOCOLATE SHOW 2003 SWEEPSTAKES, your name, address and zip code on a 3-inch x 5-inch card. Mail in an envelope to: StarChefs, 9 East 19th Street, 9th Floor, New York, NY 10003 Attn: Chocolate Sweepstakes. Each entry must be mailed separately. Entry limited to one per household. Entries that are printed by machine or otherwise mechanically reproduced will not be accepted. All mailed entries must be received by November 7, 2003.

Prize Structure: First Prize winners will receive a 45-minute assistant position to a star pastry chef plus two all-day tickets to The Chocolate Show.

Odds of Winning: The odds of winning will be determined by the number of valid entries received, as determined by StarChefs. All decisions are final. No substitutions of the prize are allowed.

Eligibility: Sweepstakes open to residents of the United States only. Contestants must be 18 years of age or older. Citizens of Canada and other countries are excluded from participating and receiving any prizes from the sweepstakes. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. By acceptance of prize, winners agree to the use of their name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising, trade, or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Winners will be asked to sign an affidavit of eligibility and a publicity release that will allow the use of winners' names and likenesses for other promotional activities by the sponsor.

Employees of StarChefs or Boiling Water and/or the sponsors, participating vendors, their subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, advertising agencies or related companies are not eligible for prizes. Neither StarChefs, Boiling Water or their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions or related companies are responsible for any damages, taxes or expenses that winners may incur as a result of this contest or receipt of prize. Winners further acknowledge that StarChefs or Boiling Water have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness.
