Serving
Ingredients:
Blood Orange Infused Tequila:
- 1 liter 100% agave tequila
- ½ pound blood orange peels
To Assemble and Serve:
- 1½ ounces Blood Orange Infused Tequila
- ¾ ounce fresh lime juice
- ¾ ounce velvet falernum
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 orange peel
- Cloves
Method:
For the Blood Orange Infused Tequila:
Combine tequila and orange peels and infuse for 4-6 days. Strain and discard peels.
To Assemble and Serve:
In a shaker, combine ice, Blood Orange Infused Tequila, lime juice, falernum, and bitters. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a clove-studded orange peel.
