Audio and Video
Q- I'm having problems downloading the video.
A- In order to view any video you need to have the correct software installed
on your computer. On the bottom of each video page is a link to download
the specific player needed. Below are links to download the three types
of players StarChefs uses.
Real Player: http://www.real.com/player/index.html?src=downloadr
Media Player: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/en/download/default.asp
QuickTime Player: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
Q- When watching a QuickTime movie, it stops in the middle of playing.
A- When watching a QuickTime movie, you must allow time for the video
to download in order to view it seamlessly. If it stops while playing,
it means you must wait until the video is completely downloaded and then
play it again.
Q- When watching a video on Real Player or Windows Media Player, the picture
freezes and I can only hear audio.
A- This means that there is congestion on the Net, and there is a delay
in the signal reaching your computer. Please start the video over, or
log back on at a later time.

Q- There are two different registration forms, how do I know if I filled
out the right one?
A- If you are a food lover but not working in any aspect of the food industry,
fill out the 'Foodist' form.
-or-
If you are working in any sector of the food/hospitality business, fill
out the 'Food Professional' form.
Q- Is the information you give when registering confidential?
A- Yes. All information entered on StarChefs is strictly confidential.
Q- If I already have a member name and password for the JobFinder, can
I use the same one?
A- Yes and No. Yes you can use your same user name and password. But when
you register, you are not automatically signed up under that name for
the Job-Board. If you want to have the same User Name and Password for
both the JobFinder and StarChefs Registration, you must sign up for both
separately, using the same information.

Job Finder
Q- When I log in, it is telling me that I have the wrong password.
A- You might have your 'Caps Lock' key down when typing in your password.
The password field is case sensitive. This means you must type in the
password with not only the same letters, but also the same case as the
one in which you registered. For example if your password is 'Dog,' you
cannot type in your password 'DOG.'
Q- While navigating the JobFinder, I get a page that cannot be displayed.
A- Press the back button twice or retype in the URL for the Jobfinder

Q- How do I print a page?
A- To print a page, go to FILE, then PRINT. OR Press the PRINT icon on
your browser.
Q- When viewing a page, all of the pictures do not show up
A- Press the REFRESH button on your browser
