  • The StarChefs Rising Stars Awards celebrates up-and-coming industry professionals who represent the vanguard of the contemporary American dining scene. The selected professionals are recognized not only for their exceptional food and drink but also their ability to navigate, lead and inspire.   • To celebrate the Award winners, StarChefs releases its print Rising Stars Magazine and hosts a fifteen-day Rising Stars Restaurant Week to drive revenue directly to the industry. The Restaurant Week features the signature dishes, desserts, pastries, cocktails and beverages that wowed the StarChefs team and won the individual the Award.

    StarChefs is excited to host our New Orleans Rising Stars Restaurant Week from Wednesday, September 21 to Wednesday, October 5.

  • To kick-off the Restaurant Week, StarChefs will host an industry-only Honorees Awards Dinner on Tuesday, September 20 from 6pm to 9:30pm at Brennan’s Restaurant.

    Food and cocktails will be provided by the Brennan’s team as well as Rising Stars alum co-hosts Chef Michael Gulotta of MOPHO, Chef Justin Devillier of La Petite Grocery, Bartender Chris Hannah of Jewel of the South, and Pastry Chef Megan Forman of Gracious Bakery.

    In addition to food, cocktails, and wine, the seated reception will feature a special Awards Ceremony to honor the Award Winners among their peers. The reception is attending by 125 industry professionals in the market including the winners, their industry mentors, Rising Stars alumni as well as additional professionals featured in the Rising Stars Magazine.

  • The Rising Stars celebrations continue on Wednesday, September 21 at 9:30pm (location to be announced shortly). Winners and candidates from across the market come together to enjoy late-night food & drinks. This industry-only event draws staff from winners' restaurants as well as many of the other candidates StarChefs considered to celebrate the release of the Rising Stars Magazine.
