After graduating from Columbia University with a degree in art history in 2002, Lynn Juang started her career in branding, working as an account manager for creative agency Laird + Partners on their portfolio of fashion brands. In 2006, she joined AvroKO, an award-winning design and concept firm that styled places like Beauty & Essex, The Zodiac Room, and Denver Union Station. While attending a party at Madame Geneva, a Bowery gin bar designed by the firm, Juang met Chef Seamus Mullen, who later became her husband and business partner. In 2012, Juang joined Murray’s Colmena Hospitality Group as director of marketing and development, responsible for the look and feel of the restaurants’ branding and communications.
In 2015, Juang returned to AvroKO as a consultant for clients including Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Brooklyn Brewery, and Park Hyatt Hotels. A year later, she joined Brand Bureau, AvroKO’s internal branding studio specializing in brand strategy, graphic design, interiors, and hospitality operations. She has worked on projects for iconic brands such as Blue Smoke, The Four Seasons, and IHG.
