INGREDIENTS

Smoked Saline Solution:
80 grams Maldon salt, smoked

To Assemble and Serve:
Yield: 1 cocktail
1½ ounces Mugi Hokka shōchū
1 ounces Licor 43
1 ounces orange juice
2 ounces cold brew
Mint Sprig
Orange zest

METHOD

For the Smoked Saline Solution:
In a nonreactive container, combine salt and 800 grams hot water until salt is fully dissolved. Let cool. Bottle and reserve.

To Assemble and Serve:
In a shaker tin, add all ingredients and 2 dashes Smoked Saline solution. Dry shake 15 seconds. Pour into a Collins glass with ice. Garnish with mint and orange zest.
