INGREDIENTS
Mountain Dew Vinegar:
Six 12-ounce cans Mountain Dew
1 cup white wine vinegar
To Assemble and Serve:
1½ ounces gin
½ ounce Amontillado Sherry
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 splash simple syrup
METHOD
For the Mountain Dew Vinegar:
To a pot, add soda, bring to boil, and reduce by one-third. Finish with vinegar. Mountain Dew Vinegar should be just barely sour.
To Assemble and Serve:
In shaker filled with ice, combine all ingredients and ½ ounce Mountain Dew Vinegar. Shake and double strain into chilled coupe.
